June 20th – 23rd, 2022
Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias
Campo Grande 376, 1749-024 Lisboa
Atau Tanaka and I will be presenting our work on EMG-EEG hybridization for Brain-Body Digital Music Instrument (BBDMI) during this year’s ICLI 2022, on June 20th – 23rd. We hope you will join us! Attendance is free, both remote and at location, but inscription is required.
So far, ICLI took place in Newcastle, UK (2012), Lisbon, PT (2014), Sussex, UK (2016), Porto, PT (2018) and Trondheim, NW (2020). Now, it assumes a different format. There are invited contributions, rather than submissions. The program proposes a set of research vectors, while questioning how to connect the physically and non-physically present participants in inventive, engaging ways. The experience is intended to generate material for further research and a peer-reviewed publication, which will gather essays, talks, photo-narratives, videos and more.
